Roneka Leantrice Ravenell and Shawn Lamar Price both of Harrisburg, PA, were married on March 27, 2010, at Royal Missionary Baptist Church in Charleston, SC, The Rev. Dr. Charles R. Meile, Jr., performed the 4 p.m. ceremony. A reception followed at the Charleston Marriott.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Claretha Ravenell-Eaddy, the late Mr. Franklin Eaddy and Mr. and Mrs. Enouch President; and the granddaughter of Mrs. Daisy G. Ravenell, the late Rev. Francis Ravenell, Mr. Willie L. President and the late Mrs. Sadie President, all of Cross, SC and Mrs. Eula Eaddy of Holly Hill, SC.

She is a graduate of the SC Governor’s School for Science and Mathematics, earned a BA in Chemistry from Duke University and Doctor of Medicine from the MUSC. She is a physician at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA.

The groom is the son of Ms. Cheryl Price and Mr. and Mrs. Steve Price; and the grandson of Mrs. Margaret Shepard, the late Rev. Raymond Shepard, Mr. Andrew Price and the late Mrs. Monie Price, all of Cincinnati, OH. He is a graduate of Walnut Hills High School and earned a BS in Nutrition and Doctor of Medicine from the Ohio State University. He is a physician at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.

Dr. Alyssa Humphrey and Dr. Bethany Ketchen were maids of honor. Bride’s attendants were Dr. Chika Igwilo, Dr. Nichole Tanner and Ms. Ronada Williams. Flower girl was Miss Sanaia Mustafa. Best man was Mr. Donte Price, the groom’s brother. Groomsmen were Mr. Michael Scruggs, Mr. Tyran Stallings, Mr. John Williams. Ring bearer was Master Dayvin Price. The couple will reside in Harrisburg, PA.
