Virginia Colbert Baker and Jonathan William Greaker, both of New York, N.Y., were married at 6:30 p.m. June 5 in Southside United Methodist Church. The ceremony was followed by a reception at Epping Forest Yacht Club. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Stewart Baker III, Jacksonville. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Cato Colbert, the late Roxanna Van Sant Betts and the late John Stewart Baker Jr. The bride was graduated from The Bolles School, Washington and Lee University and New York University Stern School of Business. She is employed by Siemens Financial Services Inc. as a vice president. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary William Greaker, Bayshore, N.Y. He is the grandson of Mary Quinn, Long Island, N.Y., and the late William Francis Quinn, and Edith Greaker, Long Island, and the late Frank William Greaker. The groom was graduated from Gettysburg College. He is employed by Guy Carpenter and Company LLC as a senior vice president. The bride’s sister, Cornelia Graham Baker, was the maid of honor, and the groom’s brother, Douglas Edward Greaker, was the best man. The bride’s brother, John Stewart Baker IV, was a groomsman. Following a trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar, the couple will live in New York.
